Love my Schwinn
Why?
1) It is compact enough to fit in the trunk of my Honda Accord
2) It fits through doors and aisles at the mall
3) It is easy to maneuver with the front…
We were looking for a double stroller that was 1) under $300, 2) was side-by-side, 3) had individual, adjustable seats, 4) a swivel front wheel 5) good shock system, 6) a sun canopy, 7) a storage area under the stroller,
easy fold-up ability, 9) durable material (in decent colors) and easy one-handed maneuverability (jogging with dog and children in tow).
We got everything we asked for with the Schwinn Free Wheeler 2 Double Jogger. Some added bonuses include 1) side-by-side double joggers are bulky and usually very heavy for one person to collapse and throw in a car, or store in the garage, but this one is a one handed collapse and collapses to about a one foot width. It is light and easy to pick-up (even for a 140 lb pregnant woman) 2) there is a small storage sack and wrist band that comes with the stroller. The storage sack goes in the handle bar area and the wristband is included as a safety precaution if the stroller gets away from you, it is still attached to your wrist. 3) the brake is fantastic! We have a very steep driveway and locking it to close the garage is of no concern. It has a sturdier locking mechanism than our Maclaren single stroller.
I am not an easily persuaded buyer and if you check my history, I don’t take the time to review often. This stroller deserved the time and energy to tell others about it’s A+ness!
Added side note: Please always have your children wear helmets while you jog! If they don’t make a helmet small enough for your child, they are too small for a jogger.

Schwinn Free Wheeler Review
Schwinn Free Wheeler 2 Double Swivel Wheel Jogging Stroller
My wife loves this stroller. She can put our 3 year old and 10 month old in it and go on walks.

So far, so good
I spent hours researching strollers before purchasing this one. And, although I think the more expensive versions might offer a stronger quality, this one suffices for the price…
OK, so after researching double stroller, I decided on this one. The only thing I kept on running into was the issue regarding the angle of the seat.
Got the stroller and although I must say it is very light and handles wonderfully, I HATE the seats.
I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old. The 9 month old is just at that age when she wants to see everything around her and the angle of these seats prevent her from doing that.
Now, my hubby LOVES the darned thing as he sees it as more comfortable. Yes, I agree, but only if your goal is for the kiddos to take a nap.
Before you buy one, go look at it somewhere (store, friend, etc). If I had to do it all over again, I would go with another brand.
What I like:
- The stroller basket is bigger than most double joggers, but pretty flimsy. It does fit my diaper bag, which is not a small one, but after that there is no room for anything else.
- The canopy is nice. It covers them from the sun very well and if needed you can tilt it to cover them from the front (if you are walking against the sun). So this I like about the stroller.
- It does come with a little parent tray, which is just the right size for us. Fits a water bottle (or 2) and a small wallet.
- The handle is adjustable.
- It handles very well and very smooth.
What I don’t like:
- The angle of the seats
- The break bar will NOT stay up. You can catch it going down and bring it back up, but not what I want to worry about while out on a stroll.
Good luck!
This is a great stroller. I get LOTS of inquiries about this when I am out and about. It’s VERY easy to push and maneuver. I love the swivel front wheel, and I use the lock mechanism for walks/jogs. I would really like to see a hand brake, but the wrist strap on this model is definitely helpful for hills and rollerblading. The seats are easy to adjust, great pockets and cup holder. The sun shade is upgraded to a curve, which is really great. It’s a little bit tough to collapse, but not too bad. It fits into the back of my minivan fairly well. GREAT value for the price, and it’s definitely a step up from the regular model.

Great stoller!
Great stoller for walks on paved trails and roads around town. It easily fits our 7 month old and two year old. Great tool for getting them to sleep!

double stroller
fits my 2.5 yr. old and 6 mth. old fine and rolls with ease. The only issue I have is difficulty in folding it and adjusting the seat backs.

A few cheap parts cause problems
We purchased this stroller last year, and have liked it overall, especially at first. It has a nice adjustable handle, so that both my husband and I can push it comfortably.

Everything… and more!
I ordered this stroller after my daughter had completed a pretty thorough research into this type of product.

DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER!!! The seats are horrible!! The seats are just a metal tubular frame with fabric sewn around them and they are very short in height.

Perfect.
I bought this stroller after doing about 2 months of researching and deliberating. I was very nervous about finally making a decision, but I am glad I decided on this stroller.
